Coaching
So, you’re the boss. You are supposed to know
everything. Have all the answers. Know all the in’s and
out’s of your business, your industry, your market and your
customers. And if you don’t have the answer, it’s better to
make one up than appear ‘flawed’ by your staff or your customers,
right?
So who does the boss go to when he or she needs guidance or
help? Hopefully, you’re hired staff that is highly experienced
and capable in their assigned area, but who can help you with the
big picture? Be a sounding board? Let you ‘think
through’ the issues before having to make a declaration that may or
may not be appropriate.
A Business Coach, that’s who.

Professional athletes
have coaches to help them improve their performance. Why
not business leaders and executives?

A Business Coach is the one in YOUR corner. Someone you can
bounce ideas off of and who will be able to just listen so you can
come to your own conclusions or who can provide insight from years
of experience with similar problems. Someone who has ‘been
there, done that’.
A Business Coach is not going to tell you what to do. We
aren’t here with all the answers. We provide a sounding board
if that’s all that’s needed, or we can help steer you toward making
the right decision for you and your business.
At Think Big Thoughts
Consulting, we have been helping businesses help
themselves for years. We have worked in the political quagmire
that is really big business and felt the fear and frustration of
running small businesses where everyone’s ability to pay their
mortgage falls on the boss’s shoulders. We’ve made mistakes
and had huge successes. And we’re willing to share our
experiences and our experience – all to help you succeed.
And it’s not just about business. In today’s hectic
workplace, we rarely have – or take – the time to think about
becoming a better anything – better boss, better leader, better
decision-maker, better communicator, better spouse.
The coaching process helps executives improve their performance
and personal effectiveness while reducing stress. It offers the
executive a rare opportunity to stand back and take a fresh look at
the experiences and assumptions of a lifetime. |
